Leidos Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to support our Electronics Manufacturing Facility. Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of test hardware and software for electronic systems including analog mixed-signal and RF applications at the board and system level.
• Collaborate with design engineers test engineers and manufacturing engineers to understand assembly and testing requirements.
• Support the implementation of test software for production assemblies under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Perform testing of production assemblies
• Assist in setting up manual or automated test equipment to conduct functional and reliability tests on prototype or production assemblies.
• Analyze test results and provide input to senior engineers for corrective actions.
• Contributes to the improvement of test procedures to simplify testing and/or assembly processes.
• Gain hands-on experience working on a variety of products for both military and commercial customers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering Electronics Engineering Technology and 0 years of experience.
• Familiarity with basic electronic testing equipment such as multimeters power supplies oscilloscopes and signal generators.
• Basic understanding of reading mechanical assembly drawings electrical schematics and other manufacturing documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel etc.).
• U.S. Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to programming languages such as Python LabVIEW or TestStand through coursework or internships.
• Hands-on experience with electronic assembly or testing through internships co-op programs or academic projects.
• Interest in RF test equipment such as Network Analyzers and Spectrum Analyzers.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
