Tree Climber

Responsibilities

• Climb trees to perform pruning, removals, and other tree care services using proper techniques and equipment.
• Operate and maintain climbing gear, chainsaws, and rigging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assess tree health and stability, identifying potential hazards and recommending solutions.
• Follow industry-standard pruning methods to enhance tree health and appearance.
• Safely remove hazardous branches and trees while minimizing risk to people and property.
• Collaborate with the ground crew to ensure safe and efficient debris removal from job sites.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
• Communicate professionally with clients, providing expert advice on tree care and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in tree climbing, pruning, and removals.
• Knowledge of tree species, health assessments, and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate and maintain tree care tools and equipment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• ISA Certification (preferred but not required).
