We’re hiring a Maintenance Group Leader (2nd Shift) to lead a skilled maintenance team in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and team leaders
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
• Support production by ensuring equipment uptime and efficient operations
• Implement and sustain lean manufacturing / TPS principles
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, staffing, and daily priorities
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and KPI performance

• Automated manufacturing equipment
• Robotics and PLC-controlled systems
• High-volume automotive production lines
• Preventive and predictive maintenance systems

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• 1–2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents

• Experience with PLCs, robotics, or automated equipment
• Automotive manufacturing experience
• Experience with lean manufacturing or Toyota Production System (TPS)
• Technical degree or skilled trades certification

• 3rd Shift (hours will be discussed during interview)
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs

This position plays a critical role in maintaining production flow, minimizing downtime, and supporting overall plant performance. Strong leadership in this role directly impacts safety, efficiency, and team success.

• $65,000 – $80,000 annually
