Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist position is available for a full-time contract in Semmes, AL, serving the K-12 student population within a public school district. This role offers an opportunity to support diverse student needs through psychological services in an educational setting, potentially covering multiple schools on an itinerant basis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12.
• Providing counseling, intervention, and support for students social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop appropriate educational plans.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
• Maintaining up-to-date case records and documentation compliant with state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active Alabama School Psychology license required.
• Experience working with school-age children across all grades (K-12).
• Strong assessment and intervention skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to serve multiple schools if assigned itinerant responsibilities.

Location and Schedule:

• Position based onsite in Semmes, Alabama.
• Contract dates from March 23, 2025, through May 29, 2026.
• Expected to work 37.5 hours per week.
• Specific school assignments will be determined.
