Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Practice Veterinarian to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and possess excellent clinical skills. This individual will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to a variety of small animal patients as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic tests on small animal patients

- Develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of medical conditions

- Perform routine surgeries such as spays neuters and dental procedures

- Communicate effectively with clients to educate them on their pets health and well-being

- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

- Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide the best possible care for patients

- Stay up to date on industry developments and advancements in veterinary medicine

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university

- Active veterinary license in the state of practice

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a general practice setting

- Strong surgical and medical skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Compassionate and empathetic towards both animals and their owners

- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings if needed
