Data Center Superintendent
Job Description
We’re seeking a Superintendent to oversee large-scale telecommunications and construction projects. This role involves managing project staff, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and driving projects to successful completion. Ideal candidates have extensive leadership experience and a strong background in telecommunications or construction.
What You’ll Do
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage project-related staff
- Provide guidance and mentoring to meet customer and company objectives
- Act as senior liaison for operational interface with customer representatives
- Plan, manage, and monitor project profitability and deadlines
- Oversee workload distribution, staffing levels, and job installation progress
- Review job cost postings and ensure accurate invoicing and reporting
- Perform quality checks and prepare red-lined as-built drawings
- Attend facility and construction meetings as the main on-site customer contact
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed
- Monitor operational processes and implement improvements for efficiency
- Lead safety initiatives and training sessions
- Manage tools and truck inventory and maintenance
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience
- Minimum 5 years in telecommunications or related technical/construction field
- Proven ability to define projects, create scopes of work, estimates, and manage tasks to completion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project)
- Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents
- High school diploma or GED
Nice to Have
- Experience with OSP and structured cabling projects
- Familiarity with telecom tools and troubleshooting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
