Data Center Superintendent

Job Description

We’re seeking a Superintendent to oversee large-scale telecommunications and construction projects. This role involves managing project staff, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and driving projects to successful completion. Ideal candidates have extensive leadership experience and a strong background in telecommunications or construction.

What You’ll Do

• Recruit, hire, train, and manage project-related staff
• Provide guidance and mentoring to meet customer and company objectives
• Act as senior liaison for operational interface with customer representatives
• Plan, manage, and monitor project profitability and deadlines
• Oversee workload distribution, staffing levels, and job installation progress
• Review job cost postings and ensure accurate invoicing and reporting
• Perform quality checks and prepare red-lined as-built drawings
• Attend facility and construction meetings as the main on-site customer contact
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed
• Monitor operational processes and implement improvements for efficiency
• Lead safety initiatives and training sessions
• Manage tools and truck inventory and maintenance

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience
• Minimum 5 years in telecommunications or related technical/construction field
• Proven ability to define projects, create scopes of work, estimates, and manage tasks to completion
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project)
• Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents
• High school diploma or GED

Nice to Have

• Experience with OSP and structured cabling projects
• Familiarity with telecom tools and troubleshooting

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montgomery, AL.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
