We are hiring a Part-Time IT Support Technician to provide end-user IT support for a client in the Auburn, Alabama area. This is a hybrid role combining daily on-site support with remote work when tasks allow.

This position is well suited for a sharp, dependable professional who enjoys technology, works well with people, and wants to continue building practical IT skills in a real-world support environment.

Key Details

• Location: Auburn, AL

• Must live within 10–15 minutes of ZIP code 36830

• Part-time schedule: Approximately 2 hours on-site per day during business hours plus 1 hour remote per day

• Hours are expected to increase as we grow with our client

• Company laptop provided

• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate

• Compensation negotiable based on experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive, professional IT support to end users

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues

• Handle support tasks both on-site and remotely

• Communicate clearly and professionally with users and management

• Escalate complex issues as needed

• Help maintain a reliable and positive support experience for the client

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation

• Technical aptitude and problem-solving ability

• Ability to work independently and manage time well

• Prior IT support experience is helpful, but not required

• Must be able to successfully pass a background check
