We are seeking an Appliance Delivery And Installer to become a part of our team as a contractor paid by the delivery (piece rate). You will deliver and install electronic washers, dryers, stoves and refrigerators. You will need to be able to provide your own vehicle and an additional person to assist you when the delivery is more than a 1-person job. All deliveries are within 30 miles of the business location in Huntsville, Alabama. You will be required to come to the business location to get the appliance(s) and supplies for the delivery. Each delivery and install is a negotiated price determined between you as the contracted individual and the store manager. You must be able to well represent New 2 U Appliances even though you are not an employee since you are entrusted with the care of buyer's appliances that you are delivering. You must be safe and careful not to damage property at the delivery location and be on time with the delivery. You must be able to meet the employment criteria specified on the USCIS Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.

Responsibilities:

• Safe Delivery and installation of electronic appliances
• Furnish your own tools
• All materials and supplies to enable the delivery and installation will be provided to you
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Track all equipment and supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Safe driving record
• Previous experience in delivery and installation of appliances or similar delivery and installation experience
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to work well in teams
• Ability to prioritize and multitask

New 2 U Appliances has been in business for over 6 years in Huntsville Alabama. The business buys, sells and trades used appliances but mostly sells refurbished used appliances. We also do some appliance repair.
