Job Description: Hydrostatic Pipe Tester
Pay: $25.49
$1,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Two (2) years of experience
- Ship building or other facilities that build large, welded aluminum structures, or,
- Industrial construction such as commercial building construction (large scale construction projects for hospitals, high rise buildings, hotels, and large commercial office buildings.)
- Oil and gas construction industry (refinery, chemical plant or large oil rig or processing plant construction.
- Pass the Hydrostatic Pipe Tester test or equivalent pipe test required.
- Prior experience in safe and effective use of craft-related tools and equipment required.
- Ability to perform simple math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and measure using the metric system required.
- Knowledge of shipyard terminology such as general ship structure and vessel layout required.
- Able to pass a 7-year background check, no felonies.

All employees are expected to adhere to the company’s safety policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves working under extreme hot or cold conditions and requires the physical ability to stand for the entire shift, use hands for various tasks, ascend stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Team members must occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close, distant, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
