Mobile Service Technician
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Maintenance and Repair:
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
- Provide minor repairs and maintenance at customer locations utilizing a mobile service van and equipment.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
Teamwork:
- Coordinate effectively with staff in multiple departments to provide top notch customer service.
Customer Service:
- Provide and present recommended work to customers for additional services based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensure customer vehicles are repaired correctly and in a timely manner to meet customer satisfaction.
- Ensure vehicles are left clean and in better condition than arrival
Documentation and Reporting:
- Accurately complete repair orders, detailing work performed, parts used, and time spent on each repair.
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
- Report any additional vehicle issues or concerns to service advisors and management.
- Take customer payments when necessary and ensure accurate reporting of each payment
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other service technicians, service advisors, and parts department to ensure a smooth and efficient service process.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay current with industry developments and dealership policies.
- Assist and mentor junior technicians as needed.
Compliance and Safety:
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to shop policies and regulations.
- Properly dispose of hazardous materials and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
- Must have flexible 7 day a week availability
- Must have valid drivers license and be insurable
- Must be 18 years of age and older
- Must have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new skillsets
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
