Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively on interdisciplinary teams
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to identify student needs and progress
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned with IEP requirements
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide direct therapy services—both individual and group
- Offer guidance and support to classroom teachers regarding speech/language strategies
- Stay current with best practices and ongoing professional development
