As a Security Officer Patrol Team in Huntsville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will reflect our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, while putting people first, working as a team, and acting with integrity every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production support areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorizations for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site protocols, helping to support controlled access to restricted areas.
• Complete routine reports and pass down relevant activity to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives, helping to maintain awareness of security-related concerns across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
