Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of server maintenance and troubleshooting, including both physical and virtual systems (both Hyper-V and VMware vSphere).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS is a requirement, with a familiarity in enterprise Linux systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) preferred.
• Other preferences include prior experience in storage management, as well as familiarity with common Windows administrative tools like DNS, DHCP, and NTFS permissions management.
• Monitor server performance to ensure they are running efficiently and securely.
• Implement server security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.
• Regularly update, patch and upgrade server operating systems, software and hardware to prevent potential threats.
• Perform regular data backups to protect the organization’s information. Preference is Veeam Backup and Replication.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and system controls.
• Document server configurations, changes, and upgrade history.
• Coordinate with other IT professionals to streamline processes.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• BS in Information Systems or related technical degree
• 3-5 years’ experience in server administration and management, preferably supporting a larger manufacturing facility and in a matrix organization
• Experience with scripting languages is a plus. Ex. PowerShell or Bash.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of security best practices and tools.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with project planning and project management

• $73,000-$90,000 Per Annum + Bonus
