Systems Engineer, Junior Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with 2 years of related experience , or a Master’s Degree with 0 years of related experience
Strong experience using MSOSA (Cameo) and DOORS for requirements decomposition
Demonstrated technical background in:
Architecture development
Functional decomposition
Requirements development and allocation
Interface definition using system modeling tools
Strong background in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and the use of SysML to describe behaviors of complex DoD systems
Ability to work both independently and within a small team environment
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
Active, in-scope U.S. DoD Secret security clearance required to start
Experience modeling or simulating missile defense–related applications or similar complex defense domains , including:
Air combat / air defense
Ballistic and non-ballistic intercept systems
Space or sub-orbital systems
Systems modeling and analysis experience in large-scale defense systems, including:
Weapon systems
Midcourse defense systems
Glide-phase or hypersonic intercept systems
Space-based tracking sensors
Fire control systems
Command and control systems
Multi-domain sensor architectures (EO/IR/RF)
Kill vehicles, interceptors, and countermeasure environments
Experience supporting large, complex systems engineering efforts
