Qualifications to include:
- Minimum three (3) years of documented experience in the applicable trade.
- Resume demonstrating relevant work experience.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training certification.
- Any applicable trade licenses or certifications (where applicable).
- Candidate information must include any conflicts during the period of performance (planned leave, military leave, extended vacation, etc.).
- Copies of all applicable licenses, certifications, OSHA certificates, diplomas, or training records.
- Candidates must be physically capable of performing heavy work, ladder work, confined space work, respirator use, and other physical requirements outlined in the Statement of Work.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Carpenters
- Measures, cuts, constructs, or repairs wood or wood substitute items such as scaffolding, staging parts, panels, bin pallets, concrete forms, dry walls, and rook decking.
- Measures, cuts, constructs, installs, repairs, and modifies building components such as rafters, walls, staircases, windows, and frames, trim work, and cabinets.
- Independently plans and completes projects that involve constructing, altering, repairing, and/or modifying framework, rafters, doors, finished paneling, windows, interior/exterior trim, staircases, trusses and beams.
- Plans, measures and Client out carpentry materials using broad knowledge of wood materials and substitutes with general and precision woodworking techniques.
- Knowledge of metal framing for walls and drop ceiling
- Concrete and Masonry skills
- Projects involve constructing, altering, repairing, and/or modifying framework, rafters, doors, finished paneling, windows, interior/ exterior trim, staircases, trusses and beams.
VA Hours of Work:
- Contractors are required to be present 5 days a week for 8 hours each day for a total of 40 hours per week from 8:00 AM to 430 PM.
- Contractors will be paid on an hourly rate.
