Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services at a healthcare facility in Dothan, AL, utilizing specialized imaging techniques and equipment. This travel assignment offers a rewarding opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer a variety of nuclear isotopes to scan and detect pathologies in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Operate and regulate nuclear medicine imaging equipment, including DualHead CorCams
• Perform cardiac-related imaging procedures such as Cardiolites, isolated Mugas, and Amyloid studies
• Conduct quality control tests, including isotope floods and daily equipment calibration
• Collaborate closely with Radiologists and follow departmental protocols to ensure accurate diagnostic results
• Utilize Cedars Sinai software for imaging processes and data management
• Prepare and organize diagnostic films and reports

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) credential required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of nuclear medicine experience, with demonstrated cardiac imaging proficiency
• Graduate of an accredited AMA program for Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology
• Familiarity with nuclear medicine equipment and quality control procedures
• Ability to work flexible shifts, typically 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with patient needs occasionally requiring schedule adjustments
