You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system. **Job Description:** At Regions, the Auditor performs internal audit activities in accordance with the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (SPPIA). **Primary Responsibilities** + Assists in the development of the audit engagement plan, such as identifying and assessing risk + Performs audit engagements according to the internal audit methodology with limited supervision + Creates workpapers that meet the audit evidence requirements with limited supervision + Drafts audit issues using established criteria in the internal audit methodology + Identifies process improvements for the business based on understanding and analysis of process flows/operations This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. **Requirements** + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + Two (2) years of experience in internal audit, external audit, banking, or risk management/compliance **Preferences** + Professional certification or progression towards one, preferably CPA, CIA, CISA, CFSA, CRCM, CFE, CRP, CAMS, CFIRS, CISSP, or CBA **Skills and Competencies** + Ability to listen actively and ask questions as required to validate understanding + Ability to identify the appropriate level, timing, and type of communications for different audiences + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) + Strong time management and prioritization skills + Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills + Strong work ethic and self-motivation **Position Type** Full time **Compensation Details** Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
