Position Description: Structural Fitter Mobile, ALLocation: Mobile, AlabamaJob Type: Long-Term Temporary (with potential for extended assignment)Compensation: Competitive hourly pay, based on experienceAbout the RoleWe are seeking skilled Structural Fitters to join our team for a long-term temporary assignment in Mobile, AL. This role is ideal for candidates who are looking for steady, ongoing work with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the structural and fabrication industry.As a Structural Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and fabricating structural components with precision and attention to detail. Candidates must be flexible and open to travel when project needs arise.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.Measure, cut, and align structural components with accuracy.Assemble and fit parts to meet required tolerances and quality standards.Perform tack welding, grinding, and finishing to prepare for final welding.Work collaboratively with welders, fabricators, and other team members.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.Travel as needed to support project demands outside the Mobile area.QualificationsProven experience as a Structural Fitter or in a similar fabrication role.Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and blueprints.Strong understanding of measuring tools, layouts, and fitting procedures.Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.Physically able to lift, position, and secure heavy components.Willingness to travel when required.Reliable transportation and a strong commitment to attendance.What We OfferLong-term temporary placement with steady hours.Competitive pay based on skills and experience.Opportunity for overtime.Travel opportunities with potential per diem depending on project.A supportive, safety-focused work environment.How to ApplyIf you are a motivated and dependable Structural Fitter looking for long-term work and open to travel, wed like to hear from you!??
