Industrial Painter
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Industrial Painter for a company based in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to prepare, paint, and finish surfaces of industrial equipment, structures, and machinery to protect them from corrosion.

Pay Rate
$20.00 or more per hour based on experience

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6 30 am to 3 00 pm.

Industrial Painter Duties and Responsibilities

• Mix and match paints, coatings, primers, and finishes according to specifications.
• Operate and maintain painting equipment, including airless and conventional spray systems.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, technical drawings, and coating specifications.
• Perform surface preparation techniques such as sandblasting and abrasive blasting.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, coating defects, or safety hazards.

Industrial Painter Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Knowledge of industrial painting and coating techniques.
• Understanding of corrosion prevention and protective coatings.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
