Parts Sales StaffPosition Description and Responsibilities
The successful candidate must be professional, kind, and courteous at all times to customers, vendors, and fellow employees. Customer Service is your first priority. The available position includes responsibilities such as making phone calls to solicit new business, receiving phone calls to fulfill orders, fulfilling technician parts requests, filling online parts quotes and orders, and caring for the needs of walk-in retail customer traffic. You must do so in a professional manner at all times, while also making additional recommendations for related parts sales and overcoming objections. You must sell yourself, the product, and the dealership as the expert on all of their vehicle needs, not just simply parts requests. The position may require you to make part deliveries to customers and pickup customer and/or vendor returns. You must maintain clear and effective communication and daily maintain a clean work environment.
Position Requirements Administrative- Must be able to legally work in the United States
- Must have High School Diploma or qualifying GED certificate
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- Must have clear driving record
- Must have clean background
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and future random screenings
- Able to work at a consistent, extremely fast pace
- Able to regularly and effectively multi-task
- Able to arrive consistently on time and ready for work, Monday through Saturday as needed
- Able to regularly lift over 40 pounds
- Able to stand and walk on concrete flooring for long hours
- Able to work indoors and outdoors exposed to all types of weather conditions
- Able to daily maintain a clean work environment
- Able to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack
- Able to demonstrate satisfactory work history
- Able to provide at least two references to past and/or current work experience
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of vehicles, parts, sales, and repair processes
- Able to demonstrate ability to provide excellent customer service skills to customers and vendors
- Able to demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with all fellow employees and supervisors
- Able to contribute to, and participate in, a team environment, while also reaching individual goals and satisfying individual job requirements
- Able to use Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Able to use dealer management system to process all requests, orders, and related reports/invoices
