Job Description Job Description Fabrication Team Lead - CNC Turret & Laser Operations Decatur, AL Schedule: Full-Time, First Shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, with regular overtime) Starting Pay: Typically low- to mid-$20s/hour. You'll take ownership of turret and laser operations, working with CNC machines like the Amada Vipros 358 King or Pega series. Your responsibilities include tooling setup, troubleshooting, metal sheet handling (60-163 lbs), and ensuring smooth, safe production on the fabrication floor. To thrive in this position, you should bring at least six months of hands-on CNC turret press experience, ideally with Amada systems. You'll be responsible for blueprint reading, job routing, basic maintenance, and part inspection. Beyond the technical, your leadership matters: mentoring newer operators, improving workflows, and communicating clearly with upper management will all be part of your daily role.
