Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Welder/Fitter to join their team. As a Welder/Fitter, you will be part of the production department supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder/Fitter

Location: Gadsden, AL

Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform MIG and TIG welding tasks on various materials.
• Fit and assemble parts with precision according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Utilize measuring tools such as tape measures and squares accurately.
• Complete a weld test to demonstrate skills and proficiency.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in welding and fitting.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Must bring a welding helmet for the test.
• Required tools: square, tape measure, c-clamp, and necessary fitting tools.
