Principal Systems Engineer

We have an immediate opening for a Principal Systems Engineer who will support development of a strategic Cyber Testing approach across the Department of War in Huntsville, AL. This will be a high visibility position for Capstone Research Corporation with a significant opportunity for growth. Salary for this position will depend on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support high-visibility critical aspects of Cyber Testing.
• Develop and execute system architecture and design, systems documentation, systems requirements, and systems verification.
• Provide direct systems engineering support and oversee engineering services with team members to serve the technical needs of the program. Develop and execute integrated test plans for the efforts.
• Manage the effort to include staffing and associated budget.
• Coordinate efforts of multiple government and industry partners
• Provide periodic program reviews and technical presentations to high-ranking Government stakeholders.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Develop and execute a growth strategy for the Cyber Testing by identifying customer needs and revenue sources that can be leveraged with company capabilities.

Requirements:

• BS Engineering (MS Preferred) with 20+ years of technical and project management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex system of systems integration efforts from initial concept definition through integration and test, incorporating complex threat scenarios.
• Experience running complex system of systems programs/projects across their lifecycle from concept definition through fielding and sustainment.
• Experience with and in-depth knowledge of DoD operations, concepts, and technologies
• Ability to grow technical efforts and take on task leadership for the Company.
• Good problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel 6-12 trips per year with multiple destinations
• Top Secret Security Clearance
• Must be US Citizen
