Lawn Doctor is looking for individuals dedicated to providing high-quality, customer-focused lawn care services to join our team as Lawn Care Technicians. Our Lawn Care Technicians are customer-facing brand ambassadors. They treat lawns with top quality, environmentally sensitive products, aerate and seed lawns, perform shop work, and offer appropriate new services to customers and prospects while in the field.

The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation to work and good attendance record. Actual work experience in the lawn care industry is highly desirable.

Job Title: Lawn Care Technician

Job Description: Are you physically fit and like to work outdoors? Do you enjoy learning new things and helping others with your knowledge? We are currently seeking a friendly lawn care technician to work independently in a company truck servicing existing client properties. Must be at least 19 years old to apply. Lawn care experience is a plus, but will train a dependable, motivated, customer oriented individual.

Full time year round position. If no experience candidate must be motivated to receive training.

Responsibilities include and we provide training for:

• Driving company vehicle to property locations
• Applying treatments to properties according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions
• Diagnosing plant issues and communicating recommendations to customer
• Managing product inventory
• Completing paperwork for customers and office
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working outdoors and in various weather conditions
• Ability to operate machinery
• Ability to meet production goals
• Be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds
• Pass a drug test and background check.

Qualifications:

• Provide a valid Alabama driver’s license and good DMV driving record
• Physically able to consistently lift 50 pounds and walk behind push spreader lawn equipment

Availability: Starting ASAP

Starting rate: $13.00 hour - Will pay for experience + bonuses

Benefits:

One week paid vacation in your first year, increasing to 2 paid vacation weeks your 2nd year.

Paid weekly on Friday's.

Uniforms Required to be worn properly and clean daily.
