Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs from kindergarten through 12th grade in a K-12 educational setting in Birmingham, AL. The role involves delivering individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with K-12 students with disabilities
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Strong munication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet varied student needs
Location:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs tailored to student abilities and goals

- Utilize appropriate assessment tools to track and report student progress
- Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
