Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a contract position in Atmore, Alabama, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Work Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday
• 7-hour workdays with an 8:00 AM start time; daily schedule runs from approximately 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and an additional 30-minute unpaid break
• Schedule may fluctuate by up to 30 minutes depending on site assignments
• Services provided across multiple school sites within the district

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students ages 5 to 18
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school district and state guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and assist with transitions for students requiring speech services

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 environment preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple school sites efficiently
• Knowledge of educational standards and related therapy protocols
