Position Overview

Successful State Farm Agent is seeking a qualified, licensed professional to join their winning team for the role of Insurance Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member. We seek an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience. This is an "in office" position, not remote.

Responsibilities

  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Requirements

  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening.
  • Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Experience in a variety of computer applications, particularly Windows.
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 30 wpm.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Property and Casualty license (must have)*
  • Life and Health license (must have)*
  • Selected candidate is expected to remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education.
  • Must be available to work the following schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
