Job Summary

If you're interested in a n Entry Level Seed Technician job , then this is the best role for you! Seed Technicians are responsible for all aspects of seed production, both indoors and outdoors . Duties may include seed processing, packaging, planting, pollinating, harvesting, and maintaining accurate records. The role may also involve preventive equipment maintenance, electronic data collection, and supporting overall site safety and operational standards.

Job Description

• Perform indoor seed processing and packaging activities, including receiving, scanning, cleaning, treating, sorting , labeling, and warehousing seed
• Carry out outdoor activities such as planting, pollinating, note taking, data entry, and hand harvesting
• Conduct preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Support R&D with electronic data collection in field and laboratory settings using PC and handheld devices
• Support manufacturing (production) by organizing, moving, and placing seed into storage, and maintaining inventory accuracy using electronic systems
• Perform physical activities including bending, lifting, standing, or sitting for extended periods
• Work extended hours during peak seasons
• Follow all site SOPs and safety requirements

Skills Required

• 1–3 years of related experience
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written task/safety instructions in English
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and other standard computer/software systems
• Basic mechanical skills with the ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task execution
• Ability to bend, lift, sit, or stand for long periods

Education/Training/Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
• Shift: 07:00 PM
• Willingness to work the assigned shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) for the duration of the assignment
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons
• Commitment to site safety practices and client SOPs

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary : $15.50 to $23.79 per hour based on qualifications.
