As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Guard in Northport, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related screening practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, waiting areas, and other assigned posts while assisting with visitor direction, policy questions, and de-escalation support during tense interactions.
• Support hospital operations by observing for unauthorized access, helping to protect restricted areas, and communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders during medical or facility-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
