Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor pool and surrounding areas to ensure the safety of all swimmers and visitors

- Enforce facility rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries

- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including performing rescues and administering first aid or CPR as needed

- Conduct regular safety checks of equipment and pool area to identify and address potential hazards

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area and related facilities

- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and ensuring a welcoming environment

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid lifeguard certification (such as Red Cross Lifeguard Certification or equivalent)

- Current CPR and First Aid certification

- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness

- Excellent observation and communication skills

- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations

- Responsible, attentive, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

- Ability to stand, walk, swim, lift, and respond quickly in emergencies

- Exposure to outdoor weather, wet surfaces, and pool chemicals

- Perform other duties as assigned to support pool operations and safety.
