Location: Cincinnati, OH or any other Jedson office location

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to assist and lead, while initiating some of the following efforts:

• Leveraging existing supplier relationships for quotations, bids and other support for projects.
• Managing the Request for Bid process (i.e., scope of work generation, bid meetings, site visits, etc.) for parts, equipment, and services.
• Preparing and presenting bid analysis for various scopes of work.
• Attending regular update project meetings.
• PO issuance to Suppliers/Vendors
• Maintain and update the procurement tracking spreadsheets for projects.
• Verify invoices are correct for processing (i.e. Meet project milestones, rates, and terms)
• Assist Procurement Manager in updating/revising Jedson Procurement practices and procedure documentation.
• Assist Procurement Manager in developing requisition to purchase order process flow for company ordering.
• Work with project engineers to identify and/or maintain vendors and suppliers for equipment and construction
• Assist/manage/update cost sheets for EPC project proposals
• Manage contract lifecycle from initiation to closeout, including contract modifications, claims management, and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure contract terms are clear, enforceable, and aligned with project goals.
• Monitor contract performance, ensuring that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.
• Provide guidance and support on contractual matters to project teams and other departments.

• 7+ years of procurement experience within the Engineering or Construction industry
• Ability to communicate with and work within a project team. This could include the use of MS TEAMS for project work across the US.
• Experience working with MS Office Suite (including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, Deltek VantagePoint is a plus), BlueBeam.
• Basic understanding of contract law as they apply to negotiating contracts.
• This position is a hybrid position. Employees are expected to work a minimum of 3 days on-site each week.
