We are looking for a System Administrator - ACAS System Security Compliance Administrator to support a critical IT security mission. In this role, you'll work within a dynamic team to ensure compliance, security, and efficient operations of vulnerability management solutions across classified and unclassified networks.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain security and compliance configurations, inventory, and best practices for the Vulnerability Management Solution (VMS) using Tenable products within the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) framework.

Collaborate with other security professionals to ensure the ACAS program runs effectively across multiple network environments.

Develop and maintain tailored security compliance reports and asset management solutions.

Deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Tenable components, including Nessus scanners and Tenable SecurityCenter.

Assist in meeting compliance requirements and reducing cybersecurity risk exposure.

Conduct system assessments and provide recommendations for optimizing scanning schedules, repository management, and compliance reports.

Support the installation and maintenance of configuration files, security policies, plug-ins, signatures, and checklist configuration audits.

Assist in mapping scan zones, managing subnets, and leveraging asset management solutions such as Forescout, SolarWinds Orion, McAfee Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS), and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).

Oversee and support a team of 5-7 IT professionals in cybersecurity operations.

Design and streamline reporting dashboards tailored for various audiences, including leadership, cybersecurity staff, and system administrators.

Implement changes following established security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Maintain documentation for ACAS system components, ensuring network security compliance and proper role-based access control (RBAC).

Assist with network security updates and compliance tasks, ensuring timely implementation of security patches, updates, and system enhancements.

Troubleshoot scan scheduling issues to ensure 100% coverage of intended targets.

Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of security measures.

Contribute to the development of custom security policies and compliance strategies in line with industry best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: 1-4 years of hands-on experience in:

ACAS and/or Tenable SecurityCenter/Nessus products.

Linux-based (RHEL) or Windows system administration in mid-to-large enterprise environments.

Virtualized environments such as VMware vSphere and ESXi.

Setting up, executing, and analyzing Tenable Nessus scans.

Installing, patching, and documenting DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRG).

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Passion for continuous learning in IT security and infrastructure technologies.

Ability to manage workload efficiently, prioritize tasks, and align work with security and business objectives.

Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, PowerShell, Python, or Nessus Attack Scripting Language (NASL) is a plus.

Understanding of disaster recovery principles and risk reduction strategies.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a detail-oriented mindset.

Knowledge of networking concepts, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.

Familiarity with data communications, LAN/WAN, VoIP, and network security protocols.
