Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the upcoming school year, working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role runs from August 4, 2025, through May 22, 2026, offering up to 37.5 hours per week. The placement location will be determined after the interview process to best suit the candidates location.
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Alabama Speech-Language Pathology license (must be current and submitted with application)
- Experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Ability to manage a variable caseload effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to students across K-12
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school and state regulatory guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
Location:
- Position based in Sylacauga, AL area, with final assignment decided after interview to accommodate candidates residence
