Medical Assistant

Randstad is helping our client hire an experienced Medical Assistant. This is an hourly position, in office, seeing patients. This specialty clinic is a leader in the medical field, with an established clinic team. We are looking for someone who loves working with patients, and can turn around to do the administrative tasks too!

You'll need to be ready to work; we see over 200 patients in a week. Excellent benefits, no weekends, and we'll even buy your lunch sometimes!

Responsibilities

• Must have prior experience working with patients in a clinic setting; any certifications or educational training is even better!
• Assist the doctors and clinic team in the exam room
• Call in Rx's
• FMLA paperwork
• Set up follow up appointments
• Get patient set up in the exam room
• Coordinate tests for patients
• Getting procedure precertifications from insurance providers
• Handle patient files and documentation
• Complete disabilty paperwork
• General administrative/office tasks as assigned
