Georgia-Pacific is seeking motivated individuals to join us as a Papermaking Developmental Manufacturing Engineer in Summer 2026 at one of our many nationwide locations! We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer to join our team.

What You Will Do

The Papermaking Developmental Manufacturing Engineer within Georgia-Pacific is designed for aspiring engineers who are seeking expedited training, professional development/mentorship, exposure to operations leadership, and career growth. Engineers gain real-world, hands-on experience in the industry field, with the opportunity to tackle significant projects, and take ownership of their work, while helping support innovation, process efficiency, and more with an overarching focus on compliance, safety & health.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.).
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to relocate per program requirements.
  • Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2026.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Enrolled in a degree or alternative program in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science Engineering, or related Engineering degree program.
  • Previous paper/manufacturing and/or other industry experience from an internship or co-op role.
This role is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship.
