Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Theodore, AL, serving two schools within the K12 setting. This role offers the chance to work on-site in a structured educational environment from March 2025 through May 29, 2026. The position supports students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, at Forrest Hill Elementary and additional private schools in close proximity.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must hold current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC)
• Registration with the Board of Speech Examiners is required
• Pending Department of Education licensure accepted for placement
• Ability to work within two school settings
• Experience working with school-aged children (K12)
• Compliance with all district credentialing requirements, including timely submission of license documentation

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy to students across K12 grades
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of student services and progress
• Participate in prescreen interviews as part of the hiring process with flexible scheduling options
