Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status regularly.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

• Utilize data and metrics to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care.

• Support a positive team environment and contribute to team goals.

• Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions to enhance skills.

• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in nursing care.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license in Alabama with experience in medical-surgical settings.

• Proven experience in telemetry nursing with strong assessment skills.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols in healthcare.

• Strong documentation skills to maintain accurate patient care records.
