As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary based on location.
+ Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or Allied Universal management.
+ Assist with access control procedures and monitor entrances and/or exits as required.
+ Complete required reports and logs to document incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A Guard Card or appropriate state license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
