Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Decatur, AL

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary: $70,000 annually + bonus opportunities throughout the year

As our Quality Assurance Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing quality systems, guiding a dedicated QA team, and partnering closely with production and leadership to ensure products consistently meet customer, regulatory, and company expectations. Your voice will matter here-your expertise will help shape policies, improve processes, and support a culture where quality and food safety come first.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage all Quality Assurance activities across the facility
• Design, implement, and maintain quality systems and procedures
• Review production data, product samples, and quality documentation to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with production teams to quickly resolve quality issues and prevent reoccurrence
• Oversee compliance with FDA regulations, GMP standards, and customer specifications
• Prepare reports related to non-conformances, root cause analysis, and quality performance
• Support customer interactions related to quality concerns or material discrepancies
• Manage and mentor QA team members, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and scheduling
• Stay current on regulatory updates, industry best practices, and emerging quality standards

What We're Looking For:

• At least 5 years of Quality Assurance experience and/or a Bachelor's Degree
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, FDA regulations, and food safety principles
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach and motivate a team
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
