Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Patrols PT in Northport, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key role in supporting a caring culture that puts people first, acting with integrity and working as part of a reliable, agile, and innovative team committed to making a positive impact every day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare facility.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing knowledge of emergency response activities appropriate to the healthcare environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, identify persons who may require assistance, and report any suspicious or unusual behavior observed during patrols.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors, following all established protocols.
- Document observations, incidents, and routine activities accurately and promptly as required by Allied Universal and the site-specific guidelines.
- Remain alert to any hazards or disruptions in the environment and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
