As a Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Patrols PT in Northport, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing knowledge of emergency response activities appropriate to the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, identify persons who may require assistance, and report any suspicious or unusual behavior observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors, following all established protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and routine activities accurately and promptly as required by Allied Universal and the site-specific guidelines.
• Remain alert to any hazards or disruptions in the environment and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
