Pay: $19.03/hour ($18.03 base pay + $1.00/hour shift differential) Are you looking for a hands-on manufacturing career with a company that values quality, teamwork, and safety? We're seeking a dependable and motivated Turret Operator to join our 2nd shift team. What You'll Do As a Turret Operator, you'll operate an Amada CNC Turret Press to produce precision sheet metal parts while ensuring every part meets our quality standards. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Set up and operate an Amada CNC turret press.
- Install tooling in the punch head according to work orders and production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, routers, and work instructions.
- Load and unload sheet metal into the machine safely and efficiently.
- Remove completed sheets, separate finished parts from scrap, and deburr parts using a grinder or file.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Change materials and assist with worktable changes as needed.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of equipment.
- Accurately complete production paperwork and update computer records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Assist with other duties as needed to support the production team.
- Minimum 10th-grade education.
- At least six months of machine operating experience.
- Previous mechanical experience is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
- Frequently push, pull, grip, and handle materials.
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Work with large sheets of metal and move worktables as needed.
- Bend, stoop, reach, and walk throughout the shift.
- Safely work around manufacturing equipment.
- Have good vision, including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
