The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting daily operational management and contributing to strategic planning efforts. Overseeing a medium-sized team of 6-15 members, the Assistant Manager ensures sales targets are met while fostering excellent customer engagement and maintaining smooth store operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of 6-15 staff members
- Deliver exceptional customer service and engagement
- Manage inventory control and stock levels
- Support sales initiatives and help achieve sales targets
- Train and develop staff to enhance team performance
- Create and manage employee schedules efficiently
- Prepare operational and sales reports
- Resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in retail or business management
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Knowledge of inventory management practices
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Time management expertise
