Finance Analyst Senior

As a Senior Finance Analyst within PNC's Retail Banking Finance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Birmingham, AL. This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager's discretion. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support of month-end close activities: - Journal Entries. - Reconciliations. - Report creation / maintenance / queries. Validation of Credit Card Financial Metrics: - Drivers / enablers of earnings (e.g., purchase volume). - Oversight / cataloging of credit card financial drivers (e.g., spread, yield, interchange, rewards rate, etc.). Managing information flow / monthly deliverables to: Retail Finance, Reg Reporting / SEC reporting. Maintaining month-end control checklist: - Ensuring month to month, the team has covered off all responsibilities / validations critical to a successful close process. Ad-Hoc analysis as assigned PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. **Job Description** + Assists in the preparation of timely, transparent, and succinct financial reports to enable informed decision-making by stakeholders. Produces timely and precise revenue, expense, and staffing forecasts. + Contributes to annual budget cycle and continuous monthly forecasting. Contributes to development of long term strategic plans. Assists in the preparation of key financial forecasts, metric-driven performance dashboards, and strategic business insights for business leaders and executives. + Assists with on-demand analysis and generates custom reports to address specific business needs. + Assists with audit, regulatory, and investor requests by providing timely and accurate information.
