Job Responsibilities:

• Review civil design plans and evaluate potential plan errors.
• Develop and implement construction stakeout information using design plans, specifications, and digital AutoCAD Files.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, MicroStation, and Survey Software (Magnet Field, Topcon Office, Carlson) preferred
• Develop and implement Intelligent Machine Control Modeling using Survey Software (Topcon Office, Carlson) preferred.
• Perform horizontal and vertical geometric alignment calculations in the development of construction stakeout information. Experience with bridge construction stakeout is preferred.
• Conduct field surveys and construction stakeouts for civil construction sites using Conventional Total Station, Robotic Total Station, and Global Positioning System (GPS).
• Coordinate with project personnel to develop construction stakeout requirements.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, and minimum 3 yr construction stakeout experience
• Ability to lift 50 Lbs., and work at heights.
• Valid Driver's License Required
• Maintain accurate and organized field notes and stakeout documentation, ensuring records align with project requirements and can be referenced throughout construction.
• Assist with the preparation and revision of as-built drawings and survey reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, superintendents, and field crews to resolve site layout discrepancies and ensure construction conforms to design intent.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all company and site-specific safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and hazard identification.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for survey equipment and software, escalating more complex issues to supervisors or vendors as needed.
• Adapt to changing site conditions and schedules, working occasional overtime or weekends to meet project deadlines.
