About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP Accounting, Corporate Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial management activities, including external reporting, regulatory compliance (SEC & BaFin), SOX compliance, technical accounting, and corporate operational reporting. This role involves serving as a key business advisor to the Chief Financial Officer and the Executive Leadership Team, overseeing both external and internal financial reporting, and ensuring adherence to U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements. The VP Accounting, Corporate Controller will also lead a global accounting team, collaborate with external auditors, and provide strategic financial analysis to support the company's objectives. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting, a CPA certification, and at least 10 years of experience in progressive accounting management roles, including prior experience as a Corporate Controller for a U.S. public company. The role requires a solid understanding of SEC filing requirements, U.S. GAAP, and previous experience with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 controls. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and motivating a global staff, excellent Microsoft Office skills, and intermediate knowledge of enterprise resource planning, preferably SAP. A Master's degree, Big 4 accounting or audit experience, and international accounting experience are preferred.
