Are you a driven sales professional looking to join a dynamic team in the equipment rental and sales industry? Rent Ready Equipment & Sales is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to help grow our business and build lasting relationships with customers.

Position Overview:

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with commercial accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients.

Job Duties

• Recommends replacement and purchase of equipment to Sales Manager

• Coordinates equipment reservations with counter personnel

• Prepares and maintains call reports and sales records

• Organizes calls and performs cold calls

• Follows up on sales leads

• Prepares all sales aids

• Assists with overflow from counter personnel and equipment delivery/pickup

• Instructs customers on equipment operation

• Prepares sales reports

• Creates and reviews catalog and flyers with Sales Manager

• Prepares and tallies customer service surveys for special projects and mailings

• Aids Sales Manager with ad design and placement

• Other duties as requested

Education, Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, or marketing; or equivalent of three years sales experience

• Strong sales and customer relation skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize efficiently

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Leadership aptitude, strong motivator, and negotiator

• Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of marketing strategies

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

• Must have a valid driver's license

Working Conditions

• Most work will be done outside of the office

• May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene, and cleaning solvents
