Cybersecurity Engineer - Program Protection

Lockheed Martin is in search of a full-time Cybersecurity Engineer - Early Career, to support the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program. This position is in 'Rocket City' Huntsville AL. As a Cybersecurity Engineer you will:
Implement Cybersecurity on tactical products and systems.
Partner with other systems engineering, software engineering, and product teams to facilitate the secure design of the systems throughout the system development lifecycles.
Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assist with planning, design, development, validation and verification of Cyber solutions across the lifecycle
Serve as cyber representative to non-cyber teams supporting requirements understanding, collaborative engagement, and solution identification and implementation
Assist with development of Cyber Plans and Procedures The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree and knowledge in basic Cybersecurity configurations, information technology (IT), and basic Networking concepts.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a related technical field.
Possess DoD 8140 IAT Level II, or higher, certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, etc.) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Problem solving capabilities to apply a systems-thinking view to solve Cybersecurity problems.
Understanding of Cybersecurity fundamentals
Understanding of IT fundamentals

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Anti-tamper (AT) experience
Cybersecurity engineering experience with embedded systems development for DoD
Vulnerability Analysis
Experience cyber-hardening operating systems (STIGS or similar)
Experience cyber-hardening network equipment such as switches, firewalls, routers (STIGS or similar)#LMSpaceCyberEng
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
