As our Coffee Shop Supervisor/Barista, you'll play a vital role in the daily operations of our café. Your responsibilities will include: - Supervising daily activities and providing guidance to team members. - Ensuring employees follow operational and safety protocols to maintain a productive and positive work environment. - Delivering exceptional service standards and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for customers. - Handling customer complaints with professionalism and ensuring customer satisfaction. - Opening and closing the café, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all equipment is functional. - Updating menus with seasonal or customer-driven offerings to keep things fresh and exciting. - Enforcing health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers. - Preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, showcasing your knowledge and expertise. - Operating and managing point-of-sale systems efficiently. - Occasionally lifting and moving items weighing 35+ pounds.

What We're Looking For: Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need: - At least 1 year of experience in food and beverage service. - A strong understanding of coffee preparation and brewing techniques. - Familiarity with point-of-sale systems. - Excellent leadership and communication skills to guide and motivate your team. - A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining high standards. - Physical ability to lift 35+ pounds as needed.
