We are looking for a dedicated Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Madison, Alabama. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and detail-oriented environment. Your organizational and communication skills will play a key part in providing efficient scheduling and administrative support to the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:• Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and detail-oriented demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Answer and manage inbound calls, providing accurate information and routing calls to the appropriate departments.
• Coordinate scheduling for physicians, procedures, and patient appointments, maintaining an organized and efficient calendar.
• Perform receptionist duties, including handling inquiries and maintaining the front desk area.
• Provide concierge services to assist patients and visitors with their needs during their visit.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure seamless communication and scheduling processes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to appointments and procedures.
• Address patient concerns or questions promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures in all interactions.
• Support additional administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.• Proven experience in receptionist duties or front desk coordination within a healthcare setting.
• Strong skills in managing inbound calls and routing them effectively.
• Proficiency in scheduling appointments for physicians, procedures, and patients.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with healthcare scheduling systems or software.
• Demeanor and appearance suitable for a medical office environment, with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
