REPORTS TO: F&B Manager (Site Operations)
POSITION: Part-Time
POSITION SUMMARY
The Barback at The Orion Amphitheater supports smooth bar operations by handling setup, restocking, and breakdown of all bar areas. This role ensures cleanliness, organization, and a steady flow of supplies, allowing bartenders to focus on serving guests. As a key link between bartenders, bar leadership, and other team members, the Barback plays an essential part in maintaining efficiency and enhancing the overall guest experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
OVERVIEW
- Communicate effectively with the F&B Manager in charge, bartenders, and other F&B staff to support smooth operations
- Uphold all health, safety, and responsible service standards at all times
- Perform additional support tasks as requested by supervisors or management
SET-UP & PREPARATION
- Stock bars with all necessary items before and during events
- Ensure bars are organized, clean, and fully equipped prior to each shift
DURING EVENTS
- Replenish all necessary items throughout the duration of events
- Respond quickly to bartenders’ requests to ensure uninterrupted guest service
- Maintain knowledge of bar locations and inventory to support efficient flow of exceptional service
BREAKDOWN & CLOSING
- Restock and prepare for the next event as directed
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & PREREQUISITES
- Ability to read and communicate clearly and effectively
- Two years of hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction
- Must maintain a professional approach to their job and guest service at all times
